Gary’s coaching style also draws from various areas in his life, including a strong pastoral foundation of 25 years, personal experience in recovery, and transformational work. Born and raised in Iowa and having lived in several major cities throughout the Midwest, Gary’s down-to-earth work ethic has been key to his professional success in numerous areas, including several years developing and guiding leadership, project development, and service-oriented teams for corporations and non-profits which has helped him recognize the value of the individuals well as the importance of relationships as equally vital aspects of helping his clients achieve their goals and applying this knowledge to his coaching. How I got here,
...and Why I'm a Life Coach
As a transgender woman, I know the risks of being true to one’s self at the deepest level. I speak from experience when I say that with a bit of courage, the right kind of support, and yes, some risk, successful change always leads to a rich, fulfilling life.
The idea of transition or “coming out” isn’t limited to sexuality or gender. Life eventually forces all of us to choose between becoming real and showing up in our lives, or staying safely—if miserably—hidden.
I spent a large portion of my life hidden behind any facade I could spin to keep my fears and confusion packed up so tight no one could possibly see me. From that space, that seemed so safe, I ran a business, had relationships and periodically showed up at events in my life that I thought made a difference.
Breaking down those walls and unraveling the beliefs that kept me frozen in fear and self loathing was not a cake walk. In retrospect, doing the work to get through the roughs patches wasn’t all that hard and in the end the rewards have been amazing! Things like increased self-awareness, self-confidence, connecting with other people and a willingness to be vulnerable.
Professionally, and prior to becoming a certified Whole Person Life Coach, I was an expert in solving puzzles;
I owned several successful businesses. I’ve been on the cutting edge of designing and manufacturing new equipment for start-up industries. I designed and patented equipment and had the pleasure of watching most of it work well and sell.
Yes, there were times I drove myself crazy trying to get to the bottom of a failed idea, all the while saying to myself “I can do this myself” or “I just can’t afford help.” What I didn’t realize at the time was how my assumptions got in the way of what I could really accomplish. So, I’ve been there. Self doubt, unhelpful beliefs and general stubbornness!
Having let go of past self-imposed restraints (indoctrinated beliefs) I decided to follow my hearts desire and help others to stretch towards believing in themselves, achieving the things they want, and become the best shiny being they can possible be.

I’m a self-confessed nurturer and recovered wallflower who put my own needs on the back-burner for a long time. Growing up, I spent a large part of my life loving and serving others while they lived their “best life”. In my drive to serve, I completed a B.S. Degree in Family Studies and Human Services at Kansas State University, graduating as part of the best and brightest of the Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society in 2004.
Being a nurturer made me successful in the corporate world. I spent 20+ years creating behind-the-scene systems to support productivity for executives and teams. But something was missing. I knew my life could have more impact by focusing on people instead of procedures. I realized that it was high time for me to bring MY dream to fruition.
Next Chapter Coaching was born! Soon I will also launch The Leading Lady Academy—a platform to support self-sacrificing women as they shift to make themselves a priority.

I'm a classical singer who continues to perform professionally, as well as a licensed therapist and a performance anxiety coach. I intimately understand both sides of the performer's life: the hard work and dedication we must employ in order to succeed, but also the inner struggles we have along the way.
I've been on both sides of the issue: I have struggled with my own performance anxiety yet have also had fearless and proud moments where I was able to give my best. I've bombed auditions due to nerves, but I've also learned opera roles overnight and jumped in for sick colleagues with a day's notice. I'm still learning about myself and evolving as a performer.

I am a Life Coach for creatives and performing artists, with a deep passion for supporting fellow autists (diagnosed or otherwise) and other highly sensitive people. I live and work in Edinburgh, Scotland where I run an ethical and inclusive creative consultancy, design agency and holistic coaching business with my partner. I have a background in the performing arts, where I worked and studied for about 9 years. Jasmyne’s main focus as a coach is to assist teens who may need additional guidance, support, and mentorship in order to help them build self-confidence, shift stuck energy and negative self-talk, embrace and accept themselves for who they are, and move towards positive change and activities in their lives. Jason Sapp, MATS, CPC is a former Army sergeant and combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom 2003-2004 and 2006-2007. Jason survived several combat experiences in which his unit was engaged with enemy insurgents. Due to the excessive trauma Jason experienced he was medically discharged in August 2007.
He struggled in dealing with his war trauma and other physical health issues for years until he was introduced to Young Living essential oils in January 2014. By incorporating an all-natural diet and being intentional in using essential oils Jason found freedom from his past traumas. He is a born again believer in Jesus Christ and has found joy in life like never before with his wife and daughters.
Jason’s passion is to coach others, especially veterans, to overcome their past traumas and to empower them to live their lives to their fullest potential. Jason coaches and trains others through workshops, online and in person, with the goal of helping people that are stuck in life that is typically caused by some traumatic experience(s) in their past, which keeps their focus on the past. My personal experiences include growing up in a military family, raising kids while serving in the military, getting divorced, getting married again, going back to school for a doctorate, moving around the country on military orders, navigating my own transition as my spouse retired from the military, maintaining long-distance relationships, and all the other challenges that come with the military lifestyle.
I am passionate about helping others find their sense of purpose and live a fulfilled life. I hold a certification in Emotional Intelligence (EQ-i2.0) and enjoy helping others learn about how their emotions impact everything, from how they see themselves and interact with others to how they make decisions and solve problems.

Moving to a new country is challenging. Especially, if that country is culturally far from your own comfort zone. Add to that challenges like going from being securely employed to looking for a new job, or from being super-busy to trying to sensibly fill your days. Or transitioning from high power career person to stay-at-home-parent. With all of these decisions awaiting you, transitioning into this new role of expat spouse can seem downright daunting.

Changing locations and adapting to new environments has been the story of my life. Having grown up in a bilingual (German-French) household, I was exposed to different cultures from a very young age. Be it as the only kid with a German passport at French summer camp at the tender age of 7, or as an exchange student to the US when I was 16, or studying in France, then China, then France again.
Since 2014, China has been my new home, having followed my engineer husband to his expat assignment in Shenyang (Liaoning Province). This was the first time that I “tagged along” with someone else going abroad, and it opened my eyes to the challenges of following along to someone else’s work agenda.
My struggle, and that of the other spouses around me (many of whom wrestled with the many decisions to be made and the challenges their new role brought with it) led me to offer coaching specifically for expats and their spouses.
