Referring someone to CTW is simple. You may either submit their name via this private form or if you prefer, email them and cc/bcc in us at studentcare@coachtrainingworld.com.

Why become a referrer for CTW?

Not everyone feels comfortable spreading the news. That’s perfectly OK. But those who do have discovered that CTW’s referral program is a fun, easy process capable of infusing your life with additional cash flow. By aligning your services with our established brand, you can grow your income stream through a wide selection of products and services that complement your offerings – and all without lifting a finger to produce them.

And let’s be transparent here. We do not want your coaching clients, but it’s likely that some of them will want to become coaches after they either work with you and/or get to see your new and amazing skills in action. In fact, that’s how most of us become coaches: we work with one only to discover that we want a career or business in coaching too!

Do I have to be a salesperson to “sell people” on your programs?

Heck no! A referrer just refers people to us via email. Note in 2023, we will add the ability for you to refer people through your website with an affiliate link should you be interested.

Should I become a referrer if I’ve only just graduated?

The opportunity is open to anyone regardless of where they are in their coaching career or business journey. Many coaches have kick-started their own businesses with the funding from their referral activity. Yep, get paid to hire someone to build your website, have “social media advertising” money to spend… You get the point!

What if I already referred someone before this program started? Can I get credit for that person?
In 2022, we made some significant changes in our budget and also increased our tuition to be able to offer this program. As many of you know, we’ve operated without a marketing budget for decades to keep our tuition low.

We are extremely, and I do mean extremely grateful for your willingness to refer people without a commission. Please note that all referrals from 2023 on will be rewarded within this program.

How do I know when to refer someone?

The short answer is: any time. But a particularly good opportunity is when you notice someone who may be more interested in becoming a coach than being coached. This person could be a fellow coach. In fact many students from other schools join us in our Trauma Informed Coach Certification, CoachPreneur Academy and in our Advanced Coach Training program which allows them to go from an ACC to PCC.

Some people feel they should only be marketing their own business to get coaching clients and sell their personalized coaching products. But these people are leaving money on the table.

If someone is more interested in being a coach (even if they could use coaching), they are not likely to hire you as their coach. They’re probably just like you: ready to be the change maker. So why not point

them to a direction you know and trust, one that could be their winning ticket and benefit yourself in the process?

When you refer someone to CTW, that individual will be well-attended during the enrollment process and throughout their chosen program. We start by ensuring they’re making the right decision for their future. If they move forward, they receive the same level of value and support you did. And you know what that’s like. Do we really have to sell you on that?

How much can I make?

At CTW, there is no limit to what you can make. Here are the current commission breakdowns based on the two levels we offer:

Referrer (Passive or Casual Referring):

You receive a 5% commission for our live programs that are offered both in-person and online.
For digital programs offered exclusively online, you receive a 30% commission for every referral.

Why the difference in commission?

An in-person/live program has much higher overhead costs. Therefore the profit margin is considerably smaller. It’s one of the drawbacks of running live events in smaller numbers. But, we prefer to give stellar support than to be the McDonald’s of the profession. Serving millions doesn’t align with our values!

That said, I still believe a live classroom environment (even if participating online is so much more effective for learning and transforming lives. I do not want to grow the classroom size simply to serve the bottom line. This is why we have continuously placed service and quality above all other considerations for the past two decades.

People recognize CTW’s quality products and services based on the results they receive. And they come back to us time and time again.

Why a referral program after so many years?

I’ve wanted to grow Coach Training World (formerly Baraka Institute) for years but haven’t felt ready for a number of reasons. I’ve always enjoyed the small, intimate classrooms, the depth of the training, and especially the depth of trust and vitality we’ve created with our community. This connection makes it easy to “know” and support one another in our triumphs and struggles. That’s something I’m extremely proud to be part of. Staying small has made that possible, but it has also held the work back.

It’s time to create an expanded global presence and serve way more people with this life-changing work. I want to grow our community big enough that there are teachers and coaches from our community all over the world. You might call it my “legacy plan.” And I can’t do it alone.
