Tech Support & Business Manager

As Tech Support and Business Manager here at Coach Training World, I get to use two of my favorite skill sets in support of others: technology and coaching communication. You may not see me in one of our classrooms, but whenever you use our website to fill out a form, sign up for one of our programs, or supplement your training, access a digital course I’m right there at your side.

I tend to the backend – a job that is all about you! I also keep tabs on our databases, website integrations and payment processing. This ensures optimal usability when you navigate our site, and especially when you access our student center or use the secure portal to pay your tuition or buy one of our products for further development.

Academically, I pursued the fields of biochemistry, molecular genetics and plant pathology, earning my PhD as a research scientist (I geek out on lichens and fungi!). But, then like many of us I decided to become a coach, and pivoted into coaching college students within their own academic pursuits, helping them stay on track and flourish through the lens of what mattered most to them. But my true love was in the details and that’s where I found my home in web technology. And that’s why I’m here today, merging the best of both worlds.

In addition to my contributions at CTW, I am also the owner of Reveal Web Works. In this role, I help new and seasoned entrepreneurs, as well as nonprofits and businesses within an extensive range of industries, craft and streamline their online presence through web design and personalized online marketing tools.

Born in Albuquerque, NM and raised in Houston, TX, I have an innate love of the outdoors. I enjoy cross-country and backcountry skiing and backpacking. I also play guitar, writing a song now and then, cook, and will happily join you for a good whiskey or beer. As an avid lifelong learner, I’m always keen to discover something new.

Like the rest of us at CTW, my aim is to support your learning journey and make sure you achieve your goals as efficiently as possible. Please let me know if there’s anything we can do to further improve the quality of your experience.

Coach Trainer & ICF Mentor Coach

I am inspired by how we humans can recreate ourselves as desired throughout our lives. I’m passionate about coaching because of how it ignites and structures that process.

Coaching provides a rare and essential environment in which people can arrive and be seen just as they are, without apology or expectation. It offers fertile ground for new ideas to become reality. Clients become clear and specific about who they are and what they truly want. This allows them to align their actions in order to create the authentic lives they are meant to live.

My journey into coaching was a natural step from my work as a university instructor, interpersonal conflict mediator, restorative justice facilitator and trainer. Working in the field of human behavior change for many years, I encountered numerous people still reacting to past circumstances.  I yearned to work with people proactively creating their lives. Coaching allows me to do just that.

As a coach, I am honored when clients share their stories with me. I facilitate a process in which they become the protagonists of their own lives. They take courageous steps that help create more respectful, realized communities.

As a coach trainer, I’m fortunate to offer a similar environment of learning and growth to students. They will experience their own metamorphoses as they become guides for others.

When not coaching and training, I get joy from performing creative work, being in the wilderness, and meditating.

My aim is to bridge the power of your individual lived experiences, strengths, and values. This enables you to embrace your unique coaching style and create a business all your own while still adhering to ICF standards.

As your ICF Mentor Coach, I work side by side with you to offer insights, fresh ideas, and constructive feedback. I have a growth mindset and an approach that is empowering and encouraging. Together we will deepen your skills, define clear action steps, and take your coaching to the next level!

This combination of training and experience gives me a unique understanding of the path that awaits you, not to mention the many options available. Together we will deepen our commitment to the betterment of humanity.

Look for me mentoring a coach embarking on their coaching journey, gathering with others around a canvas, or coaching people to see their unique purpose. Otherwise, you will find me wearing a 35-pound backpack on a moss-laden trail, pulled enthusiastically by a chocolate lab named Bailey.

Assistant Coach Trainer & Client Support

As Coach Training World’s Assistant Coach Trainer & Client Support, there’s a good chance I’ll be one of the first people you speak with when it comes to becoming a coach. I’m at the ready to answer questions, hear your story, and direct you where you need to go. From there, you may see me assisting with your coach training or even popping up in a coaching demo from time to time!

I’m a Coach Training World graduate myself. So I’d like to quickly share a little of what you can expect…From the moment I began my coaching journey here, everything always felt so personal. This was a great fit for me because I don’t like feeling as though I’m just a number. The coach trainers and staff are so supportive and motivated to help others. Being in this environment gave me the courage to try things without fear of failure. And that’s exactly what I hope to offer you.

Today, CTW’s impact continues to ripple throughout my life. I recently launched a blossoming coaching business of my own design, Sheila Anne Coaching. I’ve also learned powerful coaching tools and made genuine, lifelong friends. This knowledge and support has dramatically reshaped my life and helped me do the same for clients across the world!

I am eager to support you in the same way: offering a fresh perspective, holding a courageous space, and championing you to follow the threads of your inspiration.

I’ll guide you through the breadth of coaching resources available to you the moment you sign up. This helps advance your training by saving the time and energy required to figure things out on your own.

From my personal experience, this level of support also noticeably boosts your coaching confidence and ability to grow – personally and professionally.

When I’m not helping students at CTW, coaching, or teaching yoga, you’ll find me cooking up inspired creations in the kitchen, chatting with strangers, or on an outdoor adventure with my rescue pup, Buckwheat. He’s a hound mix… sort of… we think.

I’m so excited to meet you!
